Daily writing prompt
Describe one positive change you have made in your life.

It is funny that today, after so many days, I open up my blog account and I see this as the prompt of the day. My best friend’s therapist told her to start journaling about the positives in life, not only about the negatives. How interesting. I can’t think of just one positive change, but many. Still, why can’t I think of one that is special, specifically to me? I need to try and hone in on this right now.

I don’t take life as seriously as in my 20s. I have never experienced this level of peace, which doesn’t mean that I have mastered but compared to my 20s, it has changed a ton. I think what helped was finally making a move towards the thing I had always dreamed about other than my hyper fixation on the film industry. I started moving towards other dreams and I chilled out. Once I found some bit of success at just being a fully independent woman in my 30s, I felt more peace. However, somehow I feel like my new philosophy has a lot to do with getting older and wiser.
