Writing Prompt

According to Google: “A muse is a person, force, or inspiration that drives an artist, poet, or thinker to create, often acting as a source of creative genius. Rooted in Greek mythology as goddesses of arts and sciences, a modern muse is usually a person (like a lover or friend) who provides deep creative, emotional, or intellectual inspiration…”

Dear Muse,

I am not sure what that is for me. What are you truly? A force in my life is my ambition but lack of direction. My talent? Hmm… I have a lot of drive once I know where I am going or what the path is. I have work ethic. Still, muse seems more deep. What can’t I breathe without? This is hard.

I guess if I go back to the original prompt and imagine my muse…I imagine my life. I have a good life but I want it to get better. More financial freedom, more traveling, more learning, more memories because I currently work a lot. So when I imagine my current life, I am inspired to work harder to get myself in a better position in life.

Muse, I don’t know what you are but be with me this year. Help me find you or help it become clear to me. Like are you a person in my life?
