Good Evening Folks,

It is my absolute delight to inform you that on June 5th, I had my 34th birthday. When I was writing this initially I had put 24th birthday. It is definitely not my 24th birthday. That was ten years ago. I can’t believe ten years have passed by but at the same time, it does feel like tens years have passed. It feels long and fast at the same time.

Where was I ten years ago? At 24, I think I was working at Entertainment Studios. What a different life.

Sometimes I wish I could hug younger Frshta. In my 20s, like most people in their 20s, I was always anxious, nervous and apprehensive about the future. Today, I can tell you at 34 years old that everything is okay. Life went on even though some things didn’t work out and life is still pretty grand. I hope, well, I want to say that the best is yet to come, God Willing.

So how was my 34th birthday? Absolutely, marvelous and different. I was in my own home and I did a lot of thing that were out of my comfort zone like going to an art crawl in DTLA and putting on heavy makeup instead of my usually lip balm/chapstick. I dressed up which I am usually too lazy to do. I also planned what I wanted to do from a museum to a new tradition of the “eve of my birthday” to a birthday dinner, lots of cake and good food and let’s not forget people that I love who wanted to spent time with me. I thank you. However, I was pretty exhausted come Monday after my birthday weekend.
